Who can come to Canada as a Caregiver?
If you have a verifiable one year post of secondary education, have minimum CLB 5 in English and either a six month fulltime classroom training in Childcare or elderly care management or one year of experience either taken voluntarily or performed by keeping the children in your home or worked in the employer’s residence, you can qualify to come to Canada on Home Support Worker Pilot or Home Childcare provider pilot program
Who can accompany you?
Your family can accompany you to Canada if you are married. You get a Restricted Open Work Permit and your spouse can get open work permit meaning by, your spouse has the permission to work anywhere and if you have children, they can study in schools of Canada for free.
How do you get Permanent Residency of Canada by working as a caregiver?

When you work in the household of a child or if you are caring for a child in your own home or look after the elderly for 24 months in a period of 36 months of granted work permit, you can get Permanent Residency by sending your pay stubs to government that you fulfilled the conditions and that now you want your permanent residency to be granted to you and your accompanied family members.
What is the duration of Home Support Worker and Home Childcare Provider Pilot program?
These programs came into existence on 18th June 2019 and are valid till 17th June 2024 for a period of five years.
What is the quota per year or how many caregivers and child caregiver professionals will be granted work permit and Permanent Residency per year?
This is an economic program and there is a quota of caregivers that will be granted Permanent Residency every year. 5500 caregivers excluding their family members will be given Permanent Residency every year.

How much time does it take to reach Canada on work permit under this program?
If a caregiver is applying from outside Canada under this program, according to IRCC it takes 12 months to reach Canada under HCCP/ HSW program
